Jyotirmaya Yoga Kendra ("JYK," "we," "us") is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located at 7205 W Oakland Park Blvd, Lauderhill, FL 33319. This website provides information about our classes, services, and charitable programs.
Classes, services, memberships, and packages are scheduled and purchased through Vagaro (vagaro.com/jyotirmayayogakendra), which has its own terms of service and privacy practices. Donations are processed through PayPal. Camp and program fees may be paid by Zelle or in person. We do not process payments directly on this website.
Yoga and meditation involve physical activity. By participating in any JYK class or program, you confirm that you are physically able to participate and that you have consulted a physician regarding any injury, illness, or condition that may affect your participation. It is your responsibility to inform the instructor of any serious illness or injury before every class. Yoga is not a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis, or treatment. Listen to your body and respect its limits.
Participants under 18 require a parent or guardian's signed waiver before joining any class or program. See our Kids Yoga Waiver.
The content of this website — text, photographs, and branding — belongs to Jyotirmaya Yoga Kendra and may not be reproduced for commercial purposes without our permission. Class schedules and prices shown here are for convenience; the live schedule and pricing on Vagaro are authoritative.
When you use the forms on this site (contact form, newsletter signup, or kids yoga waiver), we collect the information you provide — such as your name, email address, phone number, and, for waivers, your child's first name, age, and the permissions you select.
Form submissions are stored securely by our website host (Netlify) and delivered by email to info@jyotiryoga.org. We use your information only to respond to you, administer classes and programs, and — if you subscribed — send occasional updates about JYK. You can unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing info@jyotiryoga.org.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Ever.
We collect information about children only when submitted by a parent or guardian through our waiver form, and we use it only to administer the program. We never publish names, faces, or identifying information of youth participants without explicit written consent from the participant and their guardian.
This site links to and embeds services with their own privacy policies: Vagaro (booking), PayPal (donations), Google Maps (directions), Instagram, and Google Fonts. When you interact with those services, their policies apply.
Please cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled class to avoid fees. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the class may be charged the private class fee. In cases of emergency, please reach out directly to explore possible exceptions.
Private sessions and consultations may be rescheduled up to 24 hours before the scheduled time without penalty. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours in advance incur a $30 non-refundable fee. It is the client's responsibility to communicate changes in a timely manner.
Program and camp fees are non-refundable. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, payments to JYK may be tax exempt — a receipt is available on request.
Donations to Jyotirmaya Yoga Kendra are non-refundable and are tax exempt to the extent allowed by law. Thank you for supporting our mission.
